That’s where Treasure Images experienced photo- and video dive team has specialized in. If you are already a photo or video "pro" or just want to start taking pictures underwater, Treasure Images Staff will give you shooting tips and a helping hand with all your needs.
Our studio is located in Sipadan-Mabul Resort, right next to the dining hall and the bar. In the TV-Lounge underwater videos are shown on a daily basis. After the show, Treasure Images staff will be available to have a look on you own pictures or videos and discuss eventual filming problems or special sightings you might have encountered during the days diving.
"Living Treasure of the Celebes Sea" is the title of Treasure Images "Highlights" DVD, containing almost 1 hour of high quality marine life footage. All of the marine life featured in the DVD can be encountered while diving around Mabul, Sipadan and Kapalai Island. The DVD is available at the Treasure Images Studio, SMART Souvenir Shop or as a mail order. Please mail your order to info@treasure-images.com and we will send your order within days.
You also can let us have made your very own and personal "Sipadan Diving Adventure" Video. Our professional videographer will follow you on a days diving and film you while diving with Turtles, Barracudas, Sharks and much more. The footage will be computer edited and produced into an amusing and entertaining movie, which you will receive as a DVD. The perfect present for your spouse and ideal to show the rest of the family and friends at home, how exciting scuba diving can be. Due to high demand, it is recommended to book your own movie in advance via email or upon arrival in the resort.
We also can offer you digital still picture cameras with underwater casing (max. depth 40 metres/120 feet) for rent. You don’t need to be a "Photo Pro" to take pictures underwater. Our small and handy cameras will deliver you astonishing results while you discover how exciting underwater photography can be. After you have taken your pictures, we will download them on a CD-Rom for you. If you bring your own digital camera, you don’t need to worry abut running out of memory space. For the ones who like to get better looking pictures, just drop by in our resort studio. Treasure Images staff will help you out with plenty of tips and their own on hand experience. We also offer the most common photo & video accessories.
